SAME SAME
If you were to count the amount of times I say this phrase on a weekly basis it would be somewhere in the CUBAJILLIONS. No matter the level, all my kids know this phrase and it's an easy way to explain complicated concepts or reinforce stereotypes.
presents. gifts. SAME SAME.
my friends in America. Obama. SAME SAME.
Here's an example of one of my favorite versions:
SAME SAME, BUT DIFFERENT:

Wednesday was voting day, and it provided I nice break in the middle of the week to dabble in an area that I imagine will consume many weekends now that it is finally warm enough that I am not cursing under my breath every time I leave the house.
I went to Baekyangsa to hike. It was warm and foggy and had watches not existed, I could of sworn it was early morning on a misty, fall day for the duration. The fog was unyielding and at the peak we stopped at, you couldn't see a thing. The eeriness was breathtaking.

APRIL
The sky is shaking me by my feet, but I am held taught by the things I know to be true, grounded and flying as so to not squash my noggin. I'm looking at things from new angles, an extension of the inspiration I have been infused with during my journey in Korea. This is why I leave - so I can feel exactly like this - dangling confidently atop the stable ground, mindfully keeping myself connected despite the chaos, and being very, VERY happy.
In case you forgot to flip your calendar, it's April. In Korea, April means cherry blossoms. You better believe I will be spending some quality time with those beautiful flowers soon. Stay tuned.
